Katy Michaels lost her parents to an horrific national disaster. Katy went to live with her parents best friends, whom lived next door. Katy was best friends with Branch and Brooks Valentine(yes twins) since she was a child and was very comfortable with the family. Katy started dating Branch once they were older, but something always pulled her to Brooks.

Katy was embarrassed and felt like she has shun the family! She realized that she loved Brooks the whole time. She got in her car and landed herself in a small town in South Carolina. Katy met some good people who help her out. Katy then finds out she is pregnant, and it definitely Brooks baby.
Lets fast forward Katy is married and to Bobby! Bobby become very abusive and possessive. She believes that Brooks got killed in the war. She tries to move on and make her marriage work. Is Brooks really dead?
Jenn Foor is a successful complementary romance author. She had written several books. I am ashamed to admit this is my first, that I have read from her. I love a well described, emotion, yet realistic book. The way her word just came of the page. She has mastered the skill of writing. I love how she brought her characters out. I was amazed and couldnt stop reading. This book is the type that you keep going back to your favorite parts. I want to tell you more with out giving the whole story away because this a must read. I wish I could give this book a thousand stars I loved it that much. I want to say thank you to Jenn for giving readers this delightful story.
