It's such a SAD day when you read the last book in a series!
I can not express in word how awesome Leigh Ann's writing skills are!!
With that being said...
Not Over is the conclusion to the Parker Siblings.As always, Leigh Ann did not disappoint me, this final book has twisted and held my attention from the Prologue to the last page!
Not Over is Dustin and Teryn's story. Dustin is the baby of all the sibling and due to health concerns when he was younger, he has been babied all his life by his sisters(especially by Brielle) . But in the last book, he found out that his less than useless parents have been hiding activities about their political ally, Brent, to the detriment of his family. Brent abused Brielle when she was younger and has terrorized Cambree. He vows to change that and to man up for them. During the course of trying to take down Brent, he discovered Brent's daughter, Teryn, who had been held captive by her father all her life and was physically and sexually abused. He is in love with her and wants to do anything he can to save her. (SWEET RIGHT)
We see how much Dustin loved Teryn and everything he did to try to keep her by his side however with everything he did it seemed to push her further away. Dustin feels lost and is devastated when Teryn up and leaves without a word. We see Dustin try to cope with his love and getting over a heart break.
Can true love concur all?
